My filming

My filming went quite succesfully. The weather was overcast which suited my filming very well and give me the effect I wanted.

Famous Directors of the gangster genre.

Francos Ford Coppola

Francis Ford Coppola is thought of by many as the director who paved the way for all gangster films. His film The Godfather was a landmark in film making. With it's very understated dialogue and seamless direction it won 3 oscars. Coppola the went on to produce two further installments of the crime franchise.

Martin Scorcese

After Coppola defined the gangster genre Scorcese took it to new heights. With his films Goodfellas and Casino took the gangster genre to heights that not many have reached since.

Script

The script that I have written is now much grittier then before and a lot tenser. I want there tobe a build up to what happens which is why I am using a voice over in my film.

Change In Actors,Location and Script.

I have had to change actors, location and script for my film. This is due to time constraints and actors not being able to record. My location is now an outside carpark mixed with shots of Liverpool city centre. I believe that this gives a feel of uncertainty and tension to the film. I have changed my actor to Richard Smith. He is in place of Matthew Marshall.
